Hala Mirowska

A lively, sprawling hall with outdoor stalls selling farm produce, flowers and local food

There are actually two Hale Mirowskie in Warsaw. The Western Hall (Mirowska) and the Eastern Hall (Gwardii) were built between 1899 and 1901. Until the time of the Warsaw Uprising, they were the largest commercial premises in Warsaw - here you could buy groceries, fish and fresh vegetables.
Hala Mirowska is a true legend of Warsaw. It is here that everyone flocks to shop - some for the cheap medicines, some for the famous flowers, some for the widest selection of vegetables in the whole city
