40 hectares, 12,000 animals belonging to 500 species - come and spend a whole day surrounded by animals and plants. We protect nature to save the shared world of humans and animals. We carry out our mission by cooperating with zoos and scientific institutions from all over the world. With passion, knowledge and experience, we serve the fight for the survival of endangered species. We combine model breeding with scientific research and environmental education. We run a Bird Asylum and a CITES center for animals in need of help. We are a showcase of Warsaw's rich history and part of its future - a green island in the heart of the capital.
Before the time comes when zoos become unnecessary and animals return to their natural habitats, we will be a home for them. The best possible one.
