The collection of the Jan Matejko House comprises some 6,000 exhibits.
They include objects of everyday use and mementos of the artist, his wife and children. The collection includes letters, official documents, jubilee souvenirs, tributes, and above all oil paintings and drawings, objects from Matejko's collection which he collected throughout his life, works by other artists, family photographs and photographs of the master's paintings taken in the 19th century, as well as a collection of books and sheet music belonging to him
