Museum in Cracow located on the premises of the former airport, collecting exhibits connected with the history of aviation development. The number of aircraft currently on display exceeds 200. The museum publishes its own publications and organises educational events. It also has a library with over 30 thousand items. It was ranked the eighth best aviation museum in the world by CNN television. On the grounds of the museum is the base of the Aviation Section of the Regional Police Headquarters in Cracow, where a PZL W-3 Sokół helicopter is stationed.
